[Etude House] Dear My Deep Color Nails - DGR702 Meet Mint (Review & Swatch)

In this post I'm only going to show you swatch, color description, and the quality (opaqueness) of the product, for the basics of the product (price, quantity, cruelty-free or not, etc) go HERE.
I also won't say anything about the "long-wear"ness of this nail polish, because it really varies to your everyday activity. It can last me for a week, but maybe only lasts you for 3 days and vice versa.

------------------------------------------------------------------

DGR702 Meet Mint

1 coat

Color
Dark Sea Green, I think. It's hard to describe the color, but it's a beautiful deep blue-green which I think is a rather unique color since I've never seen a nail polish like this. In my opinion it's a gorgeous and fitting fall color if you don't want something as subtle as earth tone nail polishes ;)

Finish
Creme

Formula
Great formula. A nice "liquidy" consistency that glides smoothly onto your nails.

Opaqueness
2 coats is all you need! You can get away with 1 coat if you apply it thicker, but I like building it up from a thin layer (reduce nail polish peeling).

2 coats
Seriously, ain't it a beautiful beautiful color???

PBR402 Crown Brown

1 coat
Color
Mauve taupe. Yes, I googled it lol, but basically it's a grayish brown with a purple tone to it. Perfect for Fall :)

Finish
Creme

Formula
Creamy and glides on smoothly. Dries rather quickly too :D

Opaqueness
You can get it's full opacity with 2 coats, so I'd say it's a quite opaque nail polish!

------------------------------------------------------------------

Hi there stranger on the internet, I'm gonna do another review on the etude house nail polish (as you probably already know from the title). I really have nothing to say in this intro, so let's just get right into the review, shall we?

DOR201 Energy Orange

Sorry for the blurriness in second pic. Didn't relalize until now X(

Color
It's a bright coral orange color, that's for me, screams S U M M E R, but could also be a nice accent color in this fall winter //edit *I wrote this back in October* weather :)

Finish
Creme

Formula
Another one with great formula out of the Dear My Deep Color Nails, a nice "liquidy" consistency that glides smoothly onto your nails. A bliss to work with :)

Opaqueness
You can almost get away with 2 coats, but I prefer adding a 3rd one to get a nice shine and creaminess as shown below.

3 coats

P.S. do you prefer I pin point my review like this or the usual paragraph like before? :)

Toodles, xoxo

------------------------------------------------------------------

Hi everyone, now I'm back to review and show you more swatches of the Dear My Deep Color Nails collection after a long hiatus on this topic :)

To start things off (again), I'm gonna review one of my most favorite color from this line..

DGR701 Tint Mint

Tint Mint is a mint that leaning towards blue, like Tiffany Blue. (yes, I realize the font color is not tiffany blue)

1 coat

The formula of this nail polish is a bliss to work with and is really opaque.

It has a beautiful smooth creme finish and 1 coat probably enough if you apply it a little bit thicker, but I always start with a thin layer, so I do 2 coats here for it reach it's maximum delicious creamy opacity.

2 coats

It dries rather quickly and also an almost 1-coater. What more can a nail polish addict ask? ;)

You can see how opaque and creamy it goes here:

[Etude House] Dear My Deep Color Nails - DPK001 Pick Pink (Review & Swatch)

In this post I'm only going to show you swatch, color description, and the quality (opaqueness) of the product, for the basics of the product (price, quantity, cruelty-free or not, etc) go HERE.

------------------------------------------------------------------

Now, the star of today's post is DPK001 Pick Pink

Pick Pink is a bright salmon pink. And when I say bright, I really mean it. Not so bright to the point of neon bright, but bright.

It's a perfect pink nails for summer imo.

one coat

It has a creme finish and as you can see from the above pictures, the formula is really opaque

You can pretty much get away with one coat, but adding a second coat never hurt ;) It glides on smoothly onto your nails too.

two coats
See how gorgeous the color is? It dries quickly too.

Overall, I think it's a great quality and worth the price :)

And like before, I can't say anything about the "long-wear"ness because it depends on your everyday activity.

Okay, bye xoxo

------------------------------------------------------------------

I'm back with another review from the Etude House Dear My Deep Color Nails collection.

Today I'll be showing you the DPK002 Wink Pink (the name is so cute!!)

Wink Pink is a perfect girly girl baby pink with creme finish.

one coat

You do need 2 coats to get them opaque, but the formula is excellent and goes on smoothly.

With one coat, it doesn't really have a nice shine, but with two coats, the shine is gorgeous.

two coats

It also dries quickly.

Overall a great nail polish :3

[Etude House] Dear My Deep Color Nails - DBR403 Royal Crown (Review & Swatch)

In this post I'm only going to show you swatch, color description, and the quality (opaqueness) of the product, for the basics of the product (price, quantity, cruelty-free or not, etc) go HERE.

------------------------------------------------------------------

Okay, the first one I'm going to show is the DBR403 Royal Crown

It's a beautiful indian red color (I have to google to find the name of the color lol)  with creme finish.

I feel like it really compliments my yellow skin tone too :)

one coat

The formula is great and opaque. As you can see, you can almost get away with just one coat, but if you apply it a little bit thicker than I did (I always start with a thin layer), you can definitely get away with just one coat :)

The formula is on the "liquidy" side, which I always love, because it makes application a breeze :)

two coats

It dries relatively quick and maintain their shine nicely.

Overall, I think it's a good quality nail polish and the price is worth it (I got mine for 28k idr = 2.8 usd) because you get quite a lot of poducts.

That's it, I think. I won't say anything about the "long-wear"ness of this nail polish, because it really varies to your everyday activity. It can last me for a week, but maybe only lasts you for 3 days and vice versa.

take care, xoxo

Revlon - Peachy Review

Hi.

It's been a while. Again.

It's hard for me to keep up wth my blog with all of this holiday feeling goodness around me. I just want to cuddle up in my bed and spend the rest of the day doing exactly nothing lol.

But!! Today I have yet another Revlon nail polish review <3. And I hope you're not tired of it just yet cos I have 2 more of them coming :)

Anyhoo this time I give their top-speed nail polish a try..

Peachy

(I really should've cleaned up the messy bits of the label before taking pics --")

It's an absolutely beautiful peach coral color with creme finish that's perfect for spring/summer.

The color is fresh and soft enough to be a whimsical spring color.

And yet bright enough to be a fun summer color <3

With that being said, you can tell that I'm in love with the color. That's why I decided to buy it, normally I wouldn't buy their top-speed 'cos it costs almost twice the regular nail polish.

The formula is good. 2 coat is enough to get it opaque and smooth. I'm happy with it.

As for the fastness of the drying process, it's not that significantly different from the regular one, so it's kinda a downer after you pay more money. I guess yeah it dries a bit faster, but not that fast that I will be willing to pay more. But, note this, the top-speed line I think have a prettier colors. Whether it's worth to pay more is definitely your call. If you have more money -plus it's still cheaper than opi-, why not? :)

Now, let's get into the swatch!!

1 coat

2 coats. See how it's already opaque and smooth? love it :)

Soo, yeah, I think that's all my review for this nail polish.

LOVE the color, love the formula, not very keen with the pricetag lol.
