So, 3 days ago I was invited to attend Sociolla SoirΓ©e. Man, that sounds fancy af lol. But basically it's a routine get together held by Sociolla for its bloggers while collaborating with a brand that's available on their webstore.
In this soirΓ©e they're collaborating with Diva to educate us about Collagen drink and its importance. And actually, Diva is available at SOCIOVIT, rather than Sociolla.
If you guys aren't yet familiar with Sociovit, it's the sister of Sociolla. While Sociolla is the place you go to for your outer beauty fix (eg. makeup), Sociovit is the place for your inner beauty need! *that rhymes π*
You can find various health and beauty supplements at Sociovit and other health-related stuffs (eg. granola, oats, organic coffee, yoghurt, etc).
The SoirΓ©e was being held at Blue Jasmine Restaurant
How gorgeous are these table decor tho??? I couldn't stop snapping at every nook and corner. It's done by Orlins Event.
Here's a representative from Kalbe explaining to us about DIVA (sorry forgot her name, I'm super bad with names. I legit only learnt all of my uni classmates' name after almost 3 years π
).
Yes, Diva is produced by Kalbe, which I'm sure you guys have at least already heard of. Kalbe is the company that produces Diabetasol, Prenagen, Milna (one of my fave baby biscuit. Yea I still eat baby biscuit. It's nice what), and a lot of over the counter medicine (eg. Promag, Woods, Fatigon, Extra Joss, etc).
Oh, they also produced FITBAR! My no.1 go-to snack bar. In fact, I have an empty Fitbar box right now beside my foot, I swear π
And another two unopened boxes outside.
Enough with the tangent, let's get into the star of the event,
DIVA BEAUTY DRINK
To put it simply, it's a Collagen Drink that works to, well, replenish your Collagen.
It's the thing that makes your skin smooth, "bouncy" and elastic. As you grow older, your skin starts to sag and wrinkles start to appear, that's because your body produces less and less collagen, insufficient to renew enough skin cells and maintain your youthful skin.
By drinking a collagen supplement, like this Diva Beauty Drink, you help your body compensating its lack of collagen reproduction.
True, you can get collagen from naturally collagen-rich food like shark's fin, pig's feet, and chicken wings (yum!), but you'll need to eat an exorbitant amount of those food to get a decent amount of collagen. Not to mention all the fat and cholesterol you'll inevitably consume with those food π±.
So when it comes to boosting your collagen, collagen dietary supplement is preferable and easier. Healthier too I suppose if you consider all that cholesterol from collagen-rich food.
*P.s. the above food photo has nothing to do with collagen lol, it's salted egg yolk shrimp that we had for lunch, but I thought it fits to what I'm trying to explain π.
Okay, while we're at food photo, might as well show you guys this uber yummy lava cake we had as dessert. The only thing was I wish mine was a bit more rare 'cause I like really saucy lava cake π (yup, still loving the new emoji feature on blogger).
Oh, and in this new set you get 16 bottles for the price of 14 bottles!
Speaking of price, Diva is actually the most affordable Collagen drink I've ever seen (among legit ones okay, not including unknown dubious ones). I remember asking my mom to buy me collagen drink when I was younger -I think around middle school or high school- maaf udah kecentilan dari kecil π, but she refused to because collagen drinks are damn expensive guys.
For Diva, you can get it at IDR60,000.00 for a box of 6 HERE at Sociovit.
I think it's a good fit if you're young and just getting started at the Collagen drink game.
Last but not least, THE TASTE.
To me it's sweet like a berry drink with a lingering fish oil taste because it DOES contain fish Collagen. The fish oil is not obvious nor a bother for me, but if you die die can't take fish oil taste AT ALL, you can make it into smoothie or mix it into different drinks! The photo above is actually a demo on how to do exactly this, but I sat at the middle-back so I couldn't get a good look at it. But you get the idea, just add Diva Beauty Drink to your morning juice or smoothie (ex. mix it with orange juice, mint, cranberry juice, soda, etc).
Personally, t's too much hassle for me to do all that lol π #lazybum, so I prefer to just drink it straight out of the bottle since the fish oil taste is very minimal. I think it's gonna be even more minimal if you drink it cold.
And that's a wrap folks!
Collagen is a gelatin fiber that makes up to 30% of the proteins in the body. It's the building material to renew cells in all areas of the body including: the hair, skin, nails, eyes, teeth, cartilage, bones, tendons, organs, arteries, blood vessels, hemoglobin, immune cells and the immune system. - the source.

NOW back to the point!
Diva contains 1000mg of collagen, fish elastin, and 4 superfruits (Pomegranate, Acerola, Grape Seed, and Acai) in each bottle. It's high in Vitamin E as well, which notoriously known as one of THE vitamins for better skin.
Here's a breakdown of WHY Diva Beauty Drink is gonna improve your skin condition with regular use:
- Contains 1000mg of Active Collagen to boost the collagen in your system. As I have explained above, Collagen is CRUCIAL for a healthy, youthful skin. It renews cells, increase skin elasticity, and can make your skin less dry. Not to mention it's also great for your hair and nails as it renews those cells as well.
- Contains Antioxidants (Vitamin E, Vitamin A, Lycopene, and Selenium) from the superfruits. Antioxidant protects your skin from free radical that can cause dark spots. It also helps in reducing the appearance of skin discoloration and spot.
- Only contains 35kcal per serving. *Each serving has 8g of sugar tho, but most commercial drinks contain 18g to 35g of sugar, so I don't mind it that much.
- The superfruits work to decrease collagen damage as well, so other than adding collagen to your body, it also minimizes the damage of collagen that's already in your body.
Another thing to note, Diva contains NO ARTIFICIAL SWEETENER, so it's actually safe even for children to consume. However, children are still full of collagen π
so there's really no need for it. You can start drinking collagen drink in you early 20s, or even from high school if you already started wearing make-up because needless to say, however safe is your make-up, it's still a burden for your skin and still causes damage.
How often should you drink Diva Beauty Drink? Well, Everyday. The representative said that it's recommended to start with 2 bottles a day (morning and evening) for the first 3 months to bring your skin back to health, and then dial it to 1 bottle a day for the months afterward for maintenance. She said that we may already see improvements within 2 weeks of regular use. For dark spots, it can take 3 months to improve. There's no such thing as instant result π. However, she said we can see a difference within 8 days.
you can see the bigger and smaller set here |
Which is why they launch a new Box set in addition to their already available 6-bottles box. This new box set will contain 16 BOTTLES of Diva in conjunction to their "8 Days to Timeless Beauty" campaign. It's a campaign to encourage you to give Diva a try for at least 8 days, 2 bottles a day (morning and evening).
