DIVA Beauty SoirΓ©e | Collagen in a Bottle

Hoola!

So, 3 days ago I was invited to attend Sociolla SoirΓ©e. Man, that sounds fancy af lol. But basically it's a routine get together held by Sociolla for its bloggers while collaborating with a brand that's available on their webstore.
In this soirΓ©e they're collaborating with Diva to educate us about Collagen drink and its importance. And actually, Diva is available at SOCIOVIT, rather than Sociolla.
If you guys aren't yet familiar with Sociovit, it's the sister of Sociolla. While Sociolla is the place you go to for your outer beauty fix (eg. makeup), Sociovit is the place for your inner beauty need! *that rhymes πŸ˜†*

You can find various health and beauty supplements at Sociovit and other health-related stuffs (eg. granola, oats, organic coffee, yoghurt, etc).
The SoirΓ©e was being held at Blue Jasmine Restaurant
How gorgeous are these table decor tho??? I couldn't stop snapping at every nook and corner. It's done by Orlins Event.
Here's a representative from Kalbe explaining to us about DIVA (sorry forgot her name, I'm super bad with names. I legit only learnt all of my uni classmates' name after almost 3 years πŸ˜…).

Yes, Diva is produced by Kalbe, which I'm sure you guys have at least already heard of. Kalbe is the company that produces Diabetasol, Prenagen, Milna (one of my fave baby biscuit. Yea I still eat baby biscuit. It's nice what), and a lot of over the counter medicine (eg. Promag, Woods, Fatigon, Extra Joss, etc).

Oh, they also produced FITBAR! My no.1 go-to snack bar. In fact, I have an empty Fitbar box  right now beside my foot, I swear πŸ˜… And another two unopened boxes outside.
Enough with the tangent, let's get into the star of the event,
DIVA BEAUTY DRINK
To put it simply, it's a Collagen Drink that works to, well, replenish your Collagen.

Collagen is a gelatin fiber that makes up to 30% of the proteins in the body. It's the building material to renew cells in all areas of the body including: the hair, skin, nails, eyes, teeth, cartilage, bones, tendons, organs, arteries, blood vessels, hemoglobin, immune cells and the immune system. - the source.

It's the thing that makes your skin smooth, "bouncy" and elastic. As you grow older, your skin starts to sag and wrinkles start to appear, that's because your body produces less and less collagen, insufficient to renew enough skin cells and maintain your youthful skin.

By drinking a collagen supplement, like this Diva Beauty Drink, you help your body compensating its lack of collagen reproduction.
True, you can get collagen from naturally collagen-rich food like shark's fin, pig's feet, and chicken wings (yum!), but you'll need to eat an exorbitant amount of those food to get a decent amount of collagen. Not to mention all the fat and cholesterol you'll inevitably consume with those food 😱.

So when it comes to boosting your collagen, collagen dietary supplement is preferable and easier. Healthier too I suppose if you consider all that cholesterol from collagen-rich food.

*P.s. the above food photo has nothing to do with collagen lol, it's salted egg yolk shrimp that we had for lunch, but I thought it fits to what I'm trying to explain 😝.
Okay, while we're at food photo, might as well show you guys this uber yummy lava cake we had as dessert. The only thing was I wish mine was a bit more rare 'cause I like really saucy lava cake πŸŽ‚ (yup, still loving the new emoji feature on blogger).
NOW back to the point!
Diva contains 1000mg of collagen, fish elastin, and 4 superfruits (Pomegranate, Acerola, Grape Seed, and Acai) in each bottle. It's high in Vitamin E as well, which notoriously known as one of THE vitamins for better skin.

Here's a breakdown of WHY Diva Beauty Drink is gonna improve your skin condition with regular use:
  • Contains 1000mg of Active Collagen to boost the collagen in your system. As I have explained above, Collagen is CRUCIAL for a healthy, youthful skin. It renews cells, increase skin elasticity, and can make your skin less dry. Not to mention it's also great for your hair and nails as it renews those cells as well.
  • Contains Antioxidants (Vitamin E, Vitamin A, Lycopene, and Selenium) from the superfruits. Antioxidant protects your skin from free radical that can cause dark spots. It also helps in reducing the appearance of skin discoloration and spot.
  • Only contains 35kcal per serving. *Each serving has 8g of sugar tho, but most commercial drinks contain 18g to 35g of sugar, so I don't mind it that much.
  • The superfruits work to decrease collagen damage as well, so other than adding collagen to your body, it also minimizes the damage of collagen that's already in your body.
Another thing to note, Diva contains NO ARTIFICIAL SWEETENER, so it's actually safe even for children to consume. However, children are still full of collagen πŸ˜… so there's really no need for it. You can start drinking collagen drink in you early 20s, or even from high school if you already started wearing make-up because needless to say, however safe is your make-up, it's still a burden for your skin and still causes damage.
How often should you drink Diva Beauty Drink? Well, Everyday. The representative said that it's recommended to start with 2 bottles a day (morning and evening) for the first 3 months to bring your skin back to health, and then dial it to 1 bottle a day for the months afterward for maintenance. She said that we may already see improvements within 2 weeks of regular use. For dark spots, it can take 3 months to improve. There's no such thing as instant result πŸ˜‰. However, she said we can see a difference within 8 days.

you can see the bigger and smaller set here
Which is why they launch a new Box set in addition to their already available 6-bottles box. This new box set will contain 16 BOTTLES of Diva in conjunction to their "8 Days to Timeless Beauty" campaign. It's a campaign to encourage you to give Diva a try for at least 8 days, 2 bottles a day (morning and evening).

Oh, and in this new set you get 16 bottles for the price of 14 bottles!

Speaking of price, Diva is actually the most affordable Collagen drink I've ever seen (among legit ones okay, not including unknown dubious ones). I remember asking my mom to buy me collagen drink when I was younger -I think around middle school or high school- maaf udah kecentilan dari kecil πŸ˜‘, but she refused to because collagen drinks are damn expensive guys.

For Diva, you can get it at IDR60,000.00 for a box of 6 HERE at Sociovit.

I think it's a good fit if you're young and just getting started at the Collagen drink game.
Last but not least, THE TASTE.

To me it's sweet like a berry drink with a lingering fish oil taste because it DOES contain fish Collagen. The fish oil is not obvious nor a bother for me, but if you die die can't take fish oil taste AT ALL, you can make it into smoothie or mix it into different drinks! The photo above is actually a demo on how to do exactly this, but I sat at the middle-back so I couldn't get a good look at it. But you get the idea, just add Diva Beauty Drink to your morning juice or smoothie (ex. mix it with orange juice, mint, cranberry juice, soda, etc).

Personally, t's too much hassle for me to do all that lol πŸ˜… #lazybum, so I prefer to just drink it straight out of the bottle since the fish oil taste is very minimal. I think it's gonna be even more minimal if you drink it cold.

And that's a wrap folks!
Here's a photo with fellow attendees there
And full group pic

Thankyou Sociolla for having me in your SoirΓ©e πŸ’– and Diva for educating me about the importance of Collagen drink 😊

P.p.s. I'm doing the "8 Days to Timeless Beauty" challenge, so I'm gonna update you guys with a more elaborate review on this Collagen drink soon!

Have an amazing day guys!
xoxo, Lily

Weekend Healthy Living [Yoga & Zumba] with Sienta

Hii peeps! Hope ya'll doing great and stay healthy πŸ’ž (I'm loving this new emoji feature on blogger).
Last week, November 19th to be exact, I went to Gandaria City to join the Pop Up Playground, which is a 5-weeks event held by Toyota ID in celebration of the All New Sienta launch. Yep, it's the first launch of Toyota Sienta in Indonesia!
Each week the Pop Up Playground has different theme and takes place in different location. The theme last week was Healthy Living, so is this week's theme. For this week, it will be held at Summarecon Mall Bekasi on November 27th (in 3 days!). You can register at http://sientapopupplayground.com to join 😁

Last week's healthy living involved Yoga and Zumba (this week is Fun Bike), so when Nyna invited me, I of course said yes. Zumba and Yoga are probably the only classes I love at the gym (plus Flavor, but only the ones taught by Lynne). I also join Body Pump class from time to time, but that feels more like a chore to me πŸ˜… still gotta do it though.
There is the All New Sienta to camwhore with at the registration entrance.
And camwhore I did. It has power sliding door. Like this:
Cool. Cool, cool, cool. (I love you if you get that reference)
There was a stall selling workout outfit at discounted price (my mom would probably go nuts if she had been there).
There were also some other health-related stalls. Oh, and you can get your cholesterol, uric acid, blood pressure and blood sugar tested for free at one of the stalls, but I forgot to make Sam try it (I've been pushing him to get his blood tested to no avail πŸ˜‘ damn his needle AND blood phobia).

The first session was Yoga with Fathan Todjon
He came in using the Sienta lol.

I don't have a good photo during the yoga, so I'll add a quick IG video of the session later after I finished going through the footages. /*edit: added!*/
Hands down my all time favorite part of yoga πŸ’œ. It's so freaking relaxing please. I can legit fall asleep during this part, especially if it's in an enclosed class because it's so quiet and the musics in yoga are damn psychedelic-esque.

After the yoga class, we got a 30-minutes break before Zumba to have brunch and replenish our energy.
Water bottles, cold towels (super nice after a yoga class), and main meal. For the meal, participants can choose between a fish and chip set or a chicken sandwich with mushroom bruschetta set.
There was a crate of bananas, much to Sam's dismay. I don't get how someone can hate banana. I mean, it's one of the sweetest and most filling fruit. But even just the scent of a banana can send him over the edge. It's fun though, my family and friends often scam him with various banana flavored food πŸ˜‚.
Some granola bar from EATBAR.
More fruit choices.
My brunch/post-workout menu.
I also got the fish and chip, but I only got a couple of bites before Sam devoured it wtf πŸ˜‘. I'm totally regretting not taking the chicken sandwich meal box also. I mean, each participant is supposed to get only one meal, but there were some leftovers, so no harm no foul, right? #cheapskategonnabecheapskate
I also took two EATBAR granola bars πŸ˜… because I wanted to try both flavor. I've only tried the berries flavor (which reminds me I need to take the other flavor bar out of my gym bag) and it's actually really good. Not those yucky, no-taste, snack bars. Definitely in my top 3 workout snack bar in term of taste. Although, there is no nutritional value written on the box, so that's something to keep in mind if you watch your fat/sugar/etc intake. It only says 100cal/bar.

Once we've had our brunch/lunch whatever, it's time for Zumba with Nadya. Yay. I love Zumba! I hate working out in general, but Zumba is so much fun, so it doesn't really feel like working out. The only workout that I like better than Zumba is Lynne's Flavor, otherwise, Zumba FTW!
This is the only decent photo I have during the Zumba session. We moved vigorously, so it's hard for Sam to take non-blur photo with my camera. Thus, just like the yoga session, I'll add a quick IG video of the session later after I finished going through the footages. /*edit: added!*/

Look! There was a baby-wielding partcipant as well πŸ˜‚ So friggin' cute.
After the Zumba session, there was a little talkshow about healthy diet, which I probably should've listened to better given my poor diet. No joke, I eat deep-fried food almost every single day with minimum vegetables intake πŸ˜“ *my poor clogged artery*. Don't be like me, okay. Live a healthy diet people!
Now, if you're wondering what's all this healthy living shiz gotta do with car, basically Sienta brings a "Multi-Activity Vehicle" concept to the table. It's a car that can fit all your activity needs, including work out (going to the gym, biking, etc).

How this car can fit your active lifestyle? For one, it has DIVE-IN SEAT (my favorite feature). It's the first car in its class to have this feature. I wasn't even aware of the existence of such awesomesauce feature until I saw it in Sienta (granted car is probably not my strongest suit πŸ˜…).

Anyway, if you're a car-noob like me, dive-in seat means you can fold the 3rd row seat under the 2nd row seat. Like this:
With this dive-in seat feature, it means MORE BAGGAGE ROOM!!! You can fit a LOT of stuff just by folding down the 3rd row. And there are still seats for 5 people. I went on a Jogja-Jember-Jogja road trip a lot with my family when I was a kid and we're a family of five, so I highly appreciate baggage space.
I can totally fit at the back πŸ‘ Back to the point, if you're an active person, you can put your workout equipment like gym bag, yoga mat, etc at the back and it will totally fit and then some more. If you fold down the 2nd row seat too, you can even fit  2 BIKES WITHOUT DISASSEMBLY and probably more if it's smaller bikes. Something my older brother would appreciate. He's the outdoorsy type and goes to hike a lot with his friends, so I imagine his and his friends' hiking and camping equipments would have plenty of room in this baggage.

I will elaborate more on other features in future post, but for now let's wrap it up.

It was a fun experience (and good workout) joining this Pop Up Playground event and if you're keen in joining the fun too, you can register at http://sientapopupplayground.com. Here's the line up for the last two events:
